Instructional Videos

Shown here is the first in the series of helpful mortgage onboarding videos. This one is an overall introductory video. The concept begins by using a visual metaphor to demonstrate how these videos help fill in the big picture about mortgages. To stay within budget we limited all videos to still graphics and used basic animation and creativity to make it interesting.

PNC wanted a video and helpful collateral that would incite their existing and potential new mortgage customers to transition to PNCs newly formed online mortgage services. A tough request for customers, as understanding the complexity of mortgages can be daunting. It was a lot to communicate in one video. So in order to provide a smooth customer experience we suggested creating a series of instructional how-to videos to help carry the load. We also designed a landing page that would be home to the videos. At first glance, we wanted the customer to feel there was a helpline available to them, rather than a sales video. And we did it all under the original low budget restraints.
